Welcome 2015

Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to another great year! We have so many exciting things to look forward to. Here are some reminder/updates.

Medicine/Pacifiers/Sippy Cups/Bottles/Change of Clothes

Each infant will have a cubby in the kitchen to store small items. All Medicines, creams, and sun screens will be labeled with child’s name, doctor’s instructions with your signature, and dosage instructions. (See Handbook) These will be kept in the locked closet. Please put names on all items including bottles, formula, pacifiers, cups, clothing and blankets. Bottle and cups need to be labeled daily with name and date. (See Handbook)

Please make sure that you leave the proper change of clothing for your child (Seasonal). Place these in a zip lock bag with their name on it. For children 2 and older please place the zip lock bag in their cubbies . For infants, we will take the bags and place them in the infant’s closet located in the infant room.

Sick Policy

We do the best we can to sanitize all surfaces/toys, blankets, and cots. However, the best way to prevent the spread of illnesses is to isolate the sick to avoid contaminating others. Please be considerate of all of us when deciding whether or not to send your sick child to daycare. It is a good idea to have a back-up person or two that you can use when your child is sick.

PLEASE NOTE: if your child has had a fever or vomiting in the last 24 hours, they may not attend daycare. For example, if your child had a fever or vomiting the day or even the night before, please do not send them to daycare, even if you have medicated them.

Closings 2014

A list of our closing dates for 2014 are on the front of the website.

PLEASE NOTE: As of our January 1, 2008 policy, we will not provide alternative daycare arrangements when the center is officially closed. We will not be liable for any incidents that may take place while we are closed.

Updates

Please take a moment to update any changes in phone numbers, addresses, emergency contact information, and shot records.

TUITION

Tuition fee is payable in advance of service, due every Monday morning for the present week or you can pay one month in advance on the first Monday of the month. After that Wednesday, a $5.00 PER DAY late charge will be applied for each day of non-payment. Failure to pay tuition will result in termination and action to collect money due. (See Disenrollment/ Termination Policy).

LATE FEE PICKUP
There is a charge of $15.00 per 30 minutes for late pick up. Late fees must be added to the following week’s tuition which is due the first day your child returns for the week. Please refer to your contract to find out what your tuition hours are. Regardless of what time you drop off your child you will still need to pick them up at their normal tuition hours. If at anytime you need to redo your contract hours please do so asap.

HOURS OF OPERATION

SCCS’ will be open Monday through Friday year round from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm. (See Closings/Early releases) If for any reason you will need to drop off your child AFTER 9:30 am please call. We may be going on field trips or walks when the weather is good and no one will be at the center.

HOLIDAYS / PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND VACATIONS (See Closings/Early Releases)

We will be closed two weeks out of the year. These dates are located on the front page of our website: www.sistersccs.com. We will notify or remind you of closing dates in advance so that you can plan accordingly. Parents will be charged full rate for scheduled closings and any days closed due to inclement weathers.

DISENROLLMENT/ TERMINATION POLICY

We request a two week notice prior to your child’s disenrollment from the SCCS. This is to be paid regardless if your child comes or not, so that we have time to fill that position.

Reason for Termination by SCCS:

If you are more than two weeks (10 Days) behind on your tuition we can no longer provide care for your child and tuition MUST be paid within TWO DAYS of termination before legal action takes place.

If you choose to return, and there is availability, the following will take place:

- A re-enrollment fee of $35.00 will be charged (non-refundable)

- One week’s tuition in advance is due on the first day

- That week’s tuition will be due the first day the child returns
